Influence

You have influence over a Hex Group if it is Adjacent to your Fortress Gate, or it contains a Spire you Control, or a Hex Group Adjacent to it contains a Spire you Control. Influence applies to all hexes and Source wells on the Group, plus your Fortress Source wells. For layered hexes, determine influence from bottommost Hex. You can only construct spires on Source wells you influence, and must influence at least one Hex of an Earthscape to place it. Note: only Fortress Gate provides influence to Adjacent Isle, not the rest of Fortress.
